[edit] Origin
Space Sector 0000 was one of 3600 Space Sectors into which the Guardians of the Universe had divided the universe. Space Sector 0000 is the center of the known universe were the planet Oa is located and it serves as the base of operations for the Guardians of the Universe and the Green Lantern Corps. Each Space Sector was assigned one, and later two, members of the Green Lantern Corps, who were responsible for its safety and wellbeing. The same system was used for members of the Sinestro Corps.

- Oa has at least one small moon and is currently encased in a shielding which resembles the Green Lantern Power Battery.
- However in Green Lantern corps #38 the shielding is removed
