Space Sector 0000 is part of all 3600 Space Sectors into which the Guardians of the Universe had divided the universe. Space Sector 0000 is the center of the known universe where the planet Oa is located, and indeed is composed singularly of the planet and its surrounding system, making it the smallest of all known Space Sectors. It serves as the base of operations for the Guardians of the Universe and the Green Lantern Corps. Each Space Sector was assigned one, and later two, members of the Green Lantern Corps, who were responsible for its safety and wellbeing. The same system was used for members of the Sinestro Corps, though no Sinestro Corps members are assigned to Space Sector 0000, it may be that they have assigned members to Space Sector -0001, which comprises Oa's Antimatter counterpart, Qward.
NotesEdit
- Oa has at least one small moon and is currently encased in a shielding which resembles the Green Lantern Power Battery. In Green Lantern Corps #38, this shield was destroyed by Scar, though she planted information in the Oan systems to say that it was a seismic disturbance. The system also had a sun, Sto-Oa, though this was used a makeshift bomb by the Corps against the Spider Guild when they were attempting to use it via their black hole technology to destroy Oa.
