Intro
Hey, I'm Doug.
I ran a site in the late nineties known as the Flash Encyclopedia. As the name suggests, it consisted of many entries chock full of info concerning the Fastest Man Alive, his friends, and his foes.
I'm a halfway-experienced wiki editor, having contributed a few articles here and there to the Star Wars Wiki. But ever since I first heard of wikis, I had always wished for a DC Comics one. Even pondered starting my own, going as far as actually installing MediaWiki on my webserver and playing around with it. Imagine my joy at running into the Marvel Database and learning that a DC version was in the works!
For starters, I plan to convert all my old Flash Encyclopedia entries, which are still archived on a floppy, to the new format, and go from there. The Flash is my area of expertise, but I collect plenty of other titles, and no doubt will have lots to contribute!

- migrate DC-related Wikipedia articles over
Notes to self
- Mr. Gilchrist - need to catalogue earlier appearances when I thought he wasn't important enough to merit his own article
- crazy old lady in Flash 15 (Volume 2, 1988) (or is it a dude?) - might need to write an article depending on future appearances
- mentioned in #16, name is Lizzie, Mason calls her a witch
