Borialosaurus is one of the oldest member of the Sinestro Corps coming from an ancient race of carnivorous sea creatures on Maltus billions of years ago. Borialosaurus’ species was almost hunted out of existence after attacking and killing dozens of Guardians of the Universe. Whether or not Borialosaurus is a descendent or an actual participant in the killings of the Guardians has not been determined. Likewise, it is not known if Borialosaurus is his actual name, or the name of his species.
Borialosaurus was one of thousands on Qward during the capture of Green Lantern Kyle Rayner. He held Rayner while Sinestro forcibly removed the Ion entity. Borialosaurus was next seen prior to the Arkillo-led attack on Green Lantern Mogo, but his activities in the war with the Green Lantern Corps have yet to be detailed. Following the Sinestro Corps defeat on Earth, the status of Borialosaurus is not known.
Powers and AbilitiesEdit
- Qwardian Power Ring: Members of the Sinestro Corps use yellow power rings built on Qward. The rings can create objects based on the wielders own thoughts. The power rings are fuelled by fear instead of willpower. The yellow rings are charged by Manhunter androids that have yellow power batteries built into themselves, which in turn are connected to a large yellow Power Battery based on Qward. The rings have no known weaknesses, unlike a Green Lantern power ring's previous vulnerability to yellow. Also, the yellow rings are not restricted from killing sentient beings as the Green Lantern's power rings were.
